Tag Return
It is extremely important that you return your rental timing tag to Timing Sports. If you do not you will have to pay a penalty fee for its loss. Our timing tags cannot be reused without being de-activated from one event and activated for another so they must be returned to us after each and every use.
Note: Be aware, however, that some events use a commemorative IPICO shoe tag - these events are exempt from the requirement to return your tag. Where this is the case, it will be clearly stated on the event web site and in your instructions.
How Do I Return My Tag?
For 99% of all athletes, the answer is quite simple, Your timing tag will be collected from you when you cross the finish line! If you do not intend participating in the event, DO NOT collect your timing tag at race registration (if you still want to collect your race pack, take the tag out of the pack pack and hand it to event representatives at the registration venue).
I Couldn't Take Part In The Event, What Now?
If you have your timing tag in your possession but you were not able to participate in the event, you must return your timing tag as soon as possible.
PLACE THE TAG IN A SECURELY FASTENED ENVELOPE.
